I would ask your doctor. Not sure if it is safe....

I asked my dermatologist about this and she said it was ok to use Rogaine Foam for Men but to wash my hands with soap and warm water after using it, but not to use it if you are pregnant or try to get pregnant.

My hair was so thin my hairdresser was ready to pull her hair out trying to figure out how to make it look fuller.

Talked to my PCP, I started taking Biotin 1,000 mg 3 times a day, and I use Nioxin Shampoo and conditioner.  My hair came back wonderfully.  I've always had very thin hair and I think I have thicker hair now that I did two and half years ago prior to my surgery.  I do notice when I'm not religious with my protein intake my eyebrows get extremely thin then I know I have to up the protein.

Hope this helps a bit.
